<8th Forum>

The forum is established to create a quantum computing ecosystem and to search its application to promote the bio-health industry and research, specially in the Songdo region of Incheon and the International Campus of Yonsei University. It will be held on a bimonthly basis.

In the first session of the forum, Dr. Jungsang Kim, a professor from Duke University gaves a lecture on the subject of ‘Practical Quantum Computing with Trapped Ion Qubits’.

ln the second session of the forum, Dr. kihwan Kim, a professor from Tsinghua University presented on the topic of ‘Developing Trapped Ion Systems for Quantum Computational Advantage’.

In the third session of the fourm, Dr. Joonhee Choi, a professor from Stanford University presented on the topic of ‘New Frontier of Quantum Computing with Neutral Atoms’.

In the forth session of the forum, Dr. Na Young Kim, a professor from University of Waterloo gaves a lecture on the subject of ‘Semiconductor Platforms for Quantum Information Science and Technology’.

In the last session of the forum, Dr. Chae-Yeun Park, a professor from Yonsei University gaves a lecture on the subject of ‘Quantum computational advantage in simulating many-body spin dynamics’.
