Social welfare is a mutual aid to alleviate the difficulties of individuals facing social risks. It is largely divided into two areas, income security policies and social services. This book first explains the necessity and reasons for the state to provide social welfare, and then deals with major social issues such as basic income and tax increase for welfare as well as Korea's major social security systems such as National Pension, National Health Insurance, and Employment Insurance.
