In this museum talk, curator Yoon Hyunjin explains a special exhibition of our museum ‘To Turbulent Seas of Memory: The World of Tomiyama Taeko’ (2021.3.12~6.30), which opened on March 12.

Tomiyama Taeko, who is 100 years old this year, has constantly accused barbarism of the era and testified voices of oppressed victims through her works, dreaming future full of life beyond this era full of frustration and anger.

We hope this exhibition will be an opportunity for you to feel her message of the ‘life’ and to think on what you should witness and testify right now.
