This course aims to introduce the fundamental principles of textile product washing to propose an effective textile care methods with minimal environmental impacts in real life. Upon completion of this course, the students are expected to:

1. Understand the physical and chemical interactions between various soil and textile products to suggest optimal washing methods.

2. Examine the potential environmental impacts of everyday choices in regard to textile product washing and disposal.
