“Severance Hospital Medical College’s first diploma”

Severance Hospital Medical College’s first graduation ceremony was held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 1908. Twenty-two years after Allen started medical education and more than a decade after Avison started it, seven students finally graduated from Severance for the first time.

Today’s relic is the diploma they received at this ceremony, the result of many years of their hard work.
