Focusing on the common curriculum in the UIC curriculum, the UIC Course Sampler provides a 10-minute long sample lecture in the fields of literature, history, philosophy, and research design.

UIC Course Sampler는 UIC커리큘럼 중 필수 공통과정 (common curriculum)을 중심으로 문학, 사학, 철학, 방법론분야와 innovative technology분야의 강의를 각 10분 이내 맛보기 강의를 제작하여 1시간짜리 강의로 제작하였다.

[강좌 목적]

The UIC Course Sampler is a promotional lecture targeting domestic high school students as well as overseas prospective students.

본 강의는 크게 나누어 국내 입시시장과 해외대학시장을 타겟으로 하는 홍보 강의이다.

국내에선 특히 수도권밖에 거주하는 학생들이 UIC커리큘럼에 갖고있는 막연한 호기심과 불안을 해소하여 우수학생을 유치하려는 시도이고, 해외 고등학생들에겐 UIC thoroughly internationalized 된 커리큘럼을 홍보하여 우리교육의 탄탄한 경쟁력을 확인할 수 있도록 해 주는 역할을 기대할 수 있다.
